I've noticed that the CRC is "commissioning" pastors more & more (as opposed to "ordained" which requires a full seminary M.Div ). I noticed Joe Boeve who was a Philippines missionary when I did a summer mission there (& he was a bit antagonistic towards me) ,also later became "commissioned." This has its pros & cons. On the one hand it gives the church more leaders who can call themselves "pastors". On the other hand, these so-called pastors do NOT have the full education & information that MDiv pastors have, and in some cases don't truly respect the more educated pastors,or even scorn it,in some cases. I know Joe Boeve resented me because he thought I was a "college boy" as opposed to him who had a Bible college education at the time.

PRAYING FOR MY BELOVED CRC MEMBERS & CALVIN COLLEGE et al to NOT ACQUIESCE TO FAR-LEFT LIBERALISM TO TRY TO BE ‘COOL’:
JESUS SAID: “I pray not that thou should take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
And for their sakes ..."
