Sounds like CRC embraces the notion of global warming (re-keyed as "climate change") rather than accepting the possibility that our weather simply goes thru "cycles",and has so since the time of Adam & Eve (or don't they believe in a literal Adam & Eve either?).
Yes,let's be good stewards & emphasize stewardship & various serious problems & issues in our world,but chalking it all up to man-made climate change is a leftist agenda,not something the church should bandwagon. Especially the CRC which has traditionally been more of a conservative denomination. Or is that old-fashioned & "so yesterday" too?
