PRAYING FOR MY BELOVED CRC MEMBERS & CALVIN COLLEGE et al to NOT ACQUIESCE TO FAR-LEFT LIBERALISM TO TRY TO BE ‘COOL’:

JESUS SAID: “I pray not that thou should take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

And for their sakes ..."

beware: calvin not well- known nationally "Calvin develops growth strategy for Vision 2030 – Calvin College. Chimes "

when i first started working as a new teacher at a public school in california, the principal saw "Christian Reformed" on one of my papers in my resume portfolio and one day called me in and asked me if I had gone to 'reform school" ...he was really ignorant (he wasn't the principal who hired me) ...in his mind "reformed" referred to "reform school" where troubled kids sometimes get sent (or at least that's what they used to call it) ...this was a few years BEFORE one could quickly search the internet for information ...; he had NO IDEA about the high quality education that Calvin College provides and it's association with the Christian Reformed Church. If Calvin really wants to become a "national college" (or university as it now may be) they need to do what Hillsdale did a few years ago up to the present..which is make themselves known via ads, particularly radio ads, on conservative radio stations such as "the answer" which has various conservative hosts such as dennis prager, larry elder, mike gallagher, mark levin, even Hugh Hewitt (who seems like a 'wobbler' sometimes, but usually leans conservative) . Hillsdale make it's presence known on this radio station that has various locations around the USA , and their president (Larry Arn) has a weekly "conversation" with Hugh Hewitt about conservative principles. Calvin needs to form an identity that they can share with the country that attracts students nationwide, if they are concerned about low enrollment in the coming years.
