CRC Pastor, Gareth Kok, founded Valley Christian Schools in Bellflower (Cerritos) CA

 Jim's Father, Gareth, was one of the Founders of Valley Christian High School in Cerritos/Bellflower CA . Both Jim & Gareth were CRC pastors. Gareth attended 1st CRC while attending Calvin College in the early 1900's. Later, Jim's family attended 1st CRC in the 70's and 80's
